The Boat Inn, Cromford

Our little climbing group was, until the guys moved to Lancashire, Somerset, Brussels and the Massif Central of France, based just to the south of the Peak DIstrict (Belper and Wirksworth) and the Boat was our pub of choice. Why - the beer was kept well, they always had a good stock of Cheese and Onion crisps, the service was friendly and it was on the way home after a day or evening at the crag!
