Swallow Barn is a traditional stone barn, sympathetically converted to a high standard to offer a rural retreat for one/two people. Situated in Chelmorton, it offers excellent walking from the door, yet is just a few miles from the attractive towns of Bakewell and Buxton. South facing, the barn is approached by a tree lined walled pathway, which leads to a private walled patio area with garden furniture. The attractive kitchen dining/lounge area, with wooden floor and oak beams, has a comfortable seating area with views across to the surrounding fields.

Swallow Barn is in Chelmorton, an unspoilt Conservation village situated about 6 miles from Buxton and 8 miles from Bakewell. It is in the ‘White Peak’ part of the Peak District, an area characterised by limestone walls and sparkling rivers. There are footpaths in every direction as well as the new Pennine Bridleway national trail (for mountain bikers and horse riders). The village has a traditional country pub, serving food.
