    Denby Pottery is widely known and popular throughout the UK. The pottery is also famous for fine quality glassware as well.

    The shop has plenty of bargains on factory seconds as well as perfect quality items.

    Entry and parking is free. The Denby Pottery Visitor Centre is situated about 8 miles north of Derby, on the B6179.

    Tours are available, conducted in small groups by experienced guides. The Craft Room tour is suitable for all ages and introduces you to the history of Denby Stoneware. Youngsters get to paint their own plate or make their own clay souvenir.

     

    Factory tours are also available but age restrictions apply. This tour is not recommended for those with walking difficulties.

    In the glass studio you can watch skilled craftspeople hand blowing glass items, guided tours are also available here.
